This short piece was filmed on 29 June 1973 during what has become known as the “tancazo” or the “tanquetazo”. Argentine cameraman Leonard Hendrickson filmed both the early stages of what would eventually be a military takeover of the Chilean government, as well as his own death at the hands of soldiers firing on unarmed citizens.
